Schools Conference 2013

31 JULY – 2 AUGUST 2013

The Conference Committee warmly invites Expressions of Interest for the 2013 Presentation Schools Staff Conference to be held at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, Hobart from 31 July to 2 August 2013. The theme of the Conference is Treasuring Our Presentation Past: Fashioning A Presentation Future.

International and Australian keynote speakers and workshop leaders will explore our heritage and the challenges facing education and young people in the next two decades. Approximately 115 primary schools and 25 colleges throughout Australia can trace their foundation and heritage either wholly or in part to the Presentation Order.

We welcome Presentation congregations, Catholic Education Offices, School Boards, school leaders and educators to gather in Hobart for the Conference. Delegates will be engaged in discerning what a Presentation future ought to look like in our schools and colleges. Just like the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA – which forms part of the Conference proceedings), juxtaposing our treasured past history with imagining new challenges and futures to provide a contemporary charism, will form the substance of our Conference.
