Prayer and action for Eradication of Poverty Day
Over 800 million people around the world live in extreme poverty and without the full participation of the poor and the marginalized in both creating and maintaining sustainable systems, change over the next 15 years will be difficult to achieve. We are putting them and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) front and centre on 17 October 2017.
The mission of the International Presentation Association (IPA) is to channel our resources so that we can speak and act in partnership with others for global justice. Our role at the United Nations is to work for global justice needs. It is essential that the voices of the grassroots are at the table.

This year for the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on 17 October, all Presentation people are being asked to financially contribute to the people and communities that have been devastated by the recent storms and hurricanes.
