Author: admin2

The Presentation Sisters across Australia were represented by thirteen Sisters at the Presentation Schools Staff Conference in Hobart. There are over 140 primary and secondary schools across Australia with their origins connected to the Presentation Sisters. It was a wonderful for the Sisters to be part of this Conference. They were very inspired by the commitment and enthusiasm of the participants to take forward to their school communities the charism of our foundress, Nano Nagle.

St Mary’s College Hobart was responsible for much of the superb¬†organisation of the conference.

The quality and depth of prayer/reflections prepared by the schools and the interaction of all present stood out as highlights as well as the excellent keynote addresses given by Sr Majella Kelly (Tasmania), Dr Trish Hindmarsh (Director Catholic Education Hobart), Dr Thomas Nielsen (Associate Professor, University of Canberra) and Susan Pascoe AM (Commissioner, ACNC).
