Society Gathering in October 2010
The Leaders at their recent Plenary Council meeting were delighted to hear that 110 Sisters have indicated their intention to attend the Society gathering – If we claim and live out of this reality now and into the future, what might we look like? – in October this year. During the time at Baulkham Hills other meetings and times to ‘catch up’ will occur; one of these will be a time for the Sisters in the youngest age group to gather and consider gatherings in the future.
In the life of our Congregations, diminishing in Australia and growing in PNG, this is a crucial time of shaping our future and the Plenary Council is very pleased that so many are willing to be part of looking at and working with this question together. Hopefully we can develop some realistic visions, closer relationships and practical plans. Why do apart what we can do together?
